Bienvenue!

Welcome, friends, to my new blog. I’ve been missing in action from cyberspace and felt in the mood to move into a new abode. I can’t guarantee this will be the most active blog, but I’ll give it the old college try. Especially when my books are published.

Whatever the matter, as you can see from my blog header, I write werewolf novels. These aren’t your average horror movie garoux, they’re a lot more human than you’d expect with the preference to be called wolfen.  (Werewolf has so many negative connotations.) Their French surname, Marchand, is a bit deceptive, because while these nobel-blooded, half-human, half-wolf creatures are just as regal as their original patriarch, they possess a special gift from their distant relatives, the Blanchards. The Couture family are their adversaries and the wolfen realm might be considered home, but the human world holds a special affinity to their hearts as well.

They’re fiesty spitfires and die-hard romantics. Their sixth sense is uncanny and their inherent clairvoyance emerges at unlikely moments. And while they prefer to walk in human form, be careful. One never knows when the golden glint will emerge inside their knowing eyes.

You can find out more about them by perusing the cast of characters. As for me, I’m a twenty-something would-be novelist with a family who misses her hometown, but enjoys life currently within the Southeastern United States. My ramblings can take on a million different forms, from fandoms to politics, religion to comedy, and everything you can think of in-between. I’m even a sports fan. Go, Phillies and Redskins! Feel free to comment at your leisure, meme the hell out of me, or generally poke and prod me for whatever information you’re curious about. Suggest a topic of discussion. Or tell me how you’re doing. I’m always interested in knowing more about the people who stop to take a peek into my world.

That’s all for now, mes amis! Au revoir and bonne santé until we meet again.

Lots of love,
L’Am
