  1. Can you give an example? I just include my pictures in a post like it’s part of the text, and there’s an “Add Picture” button in the editor, but if that’s not what you mean, then maybe you mean the avatar? That’s on your dashboard.

    Does that help?

My two primary sources, both legal. With the first one, 123rf (royalty free), you pay for credits.. it’s basically a dollar per pic.

Compfight is a search algorithm for Flckr which searches for pics that are under copyright commons. When using any, you don’t pay, but give attribution. Do not EVER hotlink. Any photos that come back in a search from Compfight should be able to be saved to your hard drive. You can’t save a lot of Flckr photos, depending on the choices the photographer selects, so that’s why this service only searches for ones that can be saved. Save the one you want, then upload it to whatever you use to display photos. Then, to give attribution, you say “photo by JIM” (JIM being whoever) and the JIM is linked to the flckr profile of the person where you got it. It’s not as hard as it all sounds, it’s just a few extra steps to be sure you’re legal and not going to step on anyone’s toes.

email me if you need more info or have more questions.
